Olivia is really, really pushing the boundaries with her behaviour.  I feel like I am on her case all the time.  I am working with her therapists to try to 'extinguish' the behaviours, but this is soooo hard.  I am constantly walking her back to her room, which I have to do whenever she scratches me (she does it a lot).  The last time she did it though (5 minutes ago), she actually showed some remorse.  I am quietly hopeful.

Olivia started singing the Wonder Pets song, but changed the words to 'Olivia, Daddy and sister too, we're family and we'll help you'.  I wondered where I was in that picture when my mum said to me 'you're the person they are helping'. 

There are days I spend scouring the internet trying to find SOMEONE who has a child like mine.  There are thousands of kids out there with Autism, but how many of them are like my child?  You would think that we would have a 'special club' for people like us, but there isn't really.  It's a very lonely and isolating situation.
